So anyways, the play by play:
- My friends Raj and Hank hosted the final game viewing at their house. We busted out our Italian and French breakfast items. Fritata (um, more like an omelette really) and French toast (is French toast really French?).
- Half of us were for Italy and half for France. Cordial all around though, since none of us were actually French or Italian. Well, Craig is half Italian and John's brother in law is Italian; Patrick has an uncanny love for all things French. That's about it.
- Craig also had a card around his neck, one side was yellow and the other red.
- Since everyone arrived rather late Hank tivo-ed the game. For the first half we were 10 min. behind. I was somewhat afraid that a friend would text me something like, "What a goal!" before I actually saw the goal.
- Speaking of text, here's the highlight - from a good friend in Philly: "Hot damn, all the hot italian guys came out today! I've never seen so many! Viva world cup!" Haha.
